NETFLIX : Top 3 Christmas 2020

Movies and TVshow you need to see on Netflix during christmas celebrations. What Netflix Christmas Movies Really Worth ?

1. Dash & Lily

Direction the Big Apple to meet Dash and Lily for a love story through a simple red book during Christmas celebrations.

Well, I admit it "Dash & Lily" is one of my Netflix's firm favorite of november. I was impatiently awaiting its release since I saw the trailer, and honnestly I was not deceived !

❤️ What I like :

• Short series that can very easily be viewed in a day. Consisting of only 8 episodes each lasting approximately 25 minutes.(so you don't need to waiting for the "suspense" : we like that !)

• The main characters : It feels good to see introverted characters who prefer to read a book, or stay relax at home rather than going out in the evening to parties. Likewise (for Lily's case) have a point of view of an teenager who has the impression of not really putting herslef in his place when surrounded by people of his age, often having this impression of being seen as an alien.

• The story as a whole : The fact that the two characters only express themselves through the book and like each other in a certain way without even having met, changes a little of traditional romantic comedies.

💔 What I didn't like :

• Netflix going to make a season 2... In a way it is normal because the series is adapted from books. BUT I think the end of the TV Show don't really need a suite... I think i'm just afraid the next season of the show will be missed (like many series). There is only one thing left: wait until next year to verify this !

[Not having read the book, I don't guarantee in any way that fans of the book will appreciate or not this Netflix adaptation..]

2. Holidate

It's not the movie of the year or the best romantic comedy, by the way it's a really good/headhache movie to watch, without the fuss and good to take a break and laugh.

❤️ What I like :

• Rather funny scenario that makes us have a good time.

• The different dates of Jackson and Sloane

💔 What I didn't like:

• Well, it's true that we still remain in the cliché of romantic films ... (But we are very far from Emily in Paris who is in the abusive cliché!)

3. Home for christmas

For change a TV Show from Scandinavia ! Yes I know, it's not a new on Netflix because the season one release last year (but I just watch this year). AND the season 2 release on Netflix on 18th december !

It is a really good and original tv show, change of all this movies really cliché. Characters look like real person with a real life (change of some tv show when everybody is billionaire lol). You follow Johanne, nurse and single since few times, trying to find love and have someone to present to her family for Christmas.

❤️ What I like :

• First of all this TV Show is from Scandinavia so to me that's change of the american one when sometimes is too exaggerated.

• The main character : She sometimes reminds me of a Bridget Jones from Scandinavia.

💔 What I didn't like:

• Not a lot of thing honnestly...

[DON'T FORGET THE SEASON 2 ON NETFLIX ON 18th DECEMBER !]
