Sometimes you don't have to spend money in museums if you want to see art, especially in big cities like New York.

In this article, I'm going to talk about two artists that I really like and some of their works that you can find in parts of New York. You can go there just to admire or take a picture of yourself in front of a great profile ;)

TRISTAN EATON

I really like his colorful works and his style. From the second you see the work you know it is from him. It's a bit like when you watch trailers, very often we recognize from the first seconds that the film is Tim Burton or Wes Anderson. I like this kind of artists, who have their unique style !

1. "Audrey Hepburn Mural" - Tristan EATON

Great fan of Audrey Hepburn, this Tristan Eaton's mural is my favorite in New York.

Address : 176 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10013

2. "Liberty" - Tristan EATON

From visiting New York it is obvious to go past this beautiful and colorful Statue of Liberty, which for me is the emblem of New York.

It is in the same street as "Audrey Hepburn Mural" (about 3 minutes walk).

Address : 109 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10013

3. "Big City of Dreams" - Tristan Eaton

The last one I like is "Big City of Dreams". I love all these colors again, but also the details of the young woman's face.

Address : 387 Broome St, New York, NY 10013

Conseil

If you want to see the 3 three frescoes of Tristan Eaton, I suggest you start with "Liberty", continue down the street towards "Audrey Hepburn Mural" then turn left at Broome St and see "Big City of Dreams".

(Small circuit perfect for those who want to see the three without spending too much time on their stay!)

EDUARDO KOBRA

1. " The Braves of 9/11 " et " Genius is to ride bike " - Eduardo Kobra

Both are in the same place, almost next door. The first "The Braves of 9/11" is in honor of firefighters after the attack of September 11, 2001, and the second "Genius is to ride bike" represents Einstein

Address : 780 Third avenue, New York, NY 10017

2. " The 27 Club " - Eduardo Kobra

Have you ever heard of the club of 27? This is the name we gave a set of artists who have in common to be each died at the age of 27 years. On this fresco of Eduardo KOBRA we can distinguish 5 faces of celebrities who died each at the age of 27 years. Of which: Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Jim Morrison (The Doors), Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. A nice tribute to all these great artists.

Address : 46 Rivington Street, New York, NY 10002

3. " Black and White " - Eduardo Kobra

We stay in the musical world this time with a wall in tribute to Mickael Jackson. His face separated in two, the first part is him child, and the second after him adult after the surgery.

Address : 400 E 11th Street, New York, NY 10009
